  This apartment was perfect. The building is new (built 1–2 years ago), and everything inside is modern, clean, and well maintained. The beds and bathroom were very comfortable, and having both a washing machine and a dishwasher was extremely convenient. The host was very kind, helpful, and responsive. There is a shop nearby, which makes the location even better. We had a great stay and would definitely recommend this apartment.

  Could be better: One small downside is that there is no vacuum cleaner, which is a bit inconvenient as dust builds up quickly. It would also be helpful if the apartment provided enough laundry and dishwasher capsules for the entire stay.

  We stayed 4 nights. This appears to be a fairly new building and there are some teething issues. The manager however was very responsive and quick to respond. The location is about 20 minutes by bus from Bari central. There are multiple bus lines nearby and there is the regional train (to Bari, Monopoli and Polignano a Mare etc). Just don’t rely on google directions to the train station (it’s about a 15 minute walk not 40+)! It’s a fairly busy road but we didn’t hear any noise with the windows shut. Literally in front is a bakery and across the road a supermarket. Behind the supermarket is a shopping complex with another huge supermarket. The apartment was spotless and appears very new. The photos are correct. Kitchen: dishwasher, induction hot plate, microwave, kettle, coffee machine (delonghi pods), small fridge, table and 2 chairs, clothes washing machine. Some pots and pans. Detergent for sink, dishwasher and laundry was in the cupboard. Bathroom: large shower, toilet, bidet, heated towel rack Bedroom: large bed, plenty of power points, wardrobe, desk, reasonable storage. First aide kit here and pegs for the laundry. Bed I found very comfortable. Balcony: faces north, light and airy and provides the only access to outside/view. Clothes line here. Just be aware that there are pigeons and they might deposit something on your clean clothes. If you are driving, the car spot is outside at the back not downstairs (to make the instructions clearer). And easy to park, which can be unusual for Europe. You need a key to open the car park gates. You need a code to open the gate from the street and to get into the building. You need a different code to open the apartment. We felt very safe. Contact was via WhatsApp and they were very quick and responsive always.

  Could be better: Kitchen: no tea towel was provided so if you cook, how do you hand wash and dry? No drainage board either. There is a random number of cups, plates, glasses so you need to wash almost every day. There was no bread knife or vegetable knives, no tongs either. Just wooden spoons. No toaster.   Could be better: Kitchen: no tea towel was provided so if you cook, how do you hand wash and dry? No drainage board either. There is a random number of cups, plates, glasses so you need to wash almost every day. There was no bread knife or vegetable knives, no tongs either. Just wooden spoons. No toaster. There are 4 rubbish bins with no labels. I’m used to sorting but not in Italy so instructions are needed. No instructions on where to take your rubbish (we found communal bins down the street). The clothes washer is difficult to open the soap drawer due to cupboard design. No instructions as to how to use any appliance, the aircon, the front door opener etc. very confusing. Bathroom. There is a small shelf but not big enough for 2 people’s belongings. Door handle broken so door won’t shut/lock. Bedroom. TV is here. So where do you sit? Either at the table in the kitchen or on the bed to watch tv. There is no sofa. Or take the kitchen chairs to the balcony. There is no room anywhere for a sofa anyway. Aircon. Appears the building temperature is set and you can’t adjust for the apartment easily. Security code to the apartment. First day or two it worked. Then it didn’t. Very scary to be locked out with all your belongings and passports inside. Luckily the manager answered straight away and sent someone. We asked for a physical key for backup. The neighbours door also had problems with their code too. They ask that we keep quiet hours to respect other residents. No problem. However, most days the apartment above us made a lot of noise at about 0600 waking us up. One morning it was 0400. ' Apart from the supermarkets nearby there really isn’t anywhere much to eat. So you have to drive/bus/train to restaurants. Not a complaint for the apartment- just fyi. We were there end September and the weather was great. We wanted to go for a swim (crazy I know). The nearest ‘beach’ is the other side of the railway line so about 20 minute walk.
