Who we are

Bari Hotels & Apartments is a guide to the hotels and apartments of Bari: their scores, stars, prices and facilities. Bookings happen on our partner’s site, never here. These notes are about this website and nothing else.

Reading the guide

No account, no sign-in: every page is open to anyone. Like every web server, ours notes a few technical facts with each page it sends (the address your request came from, the browser, the page itself) and keeps them only to serve the site, protect it and trace errors.

Messages you send

Write to us through either form and we receive what you typed (name, email, the subject you chose, the message) plus the language of the page and the address it was sent from. We keep it, and it lands in our mailbox and in the chat our team works in, so one of us can reply. It is used for that reply and any follow-up, nothing more.

Keeping out spam

The forms can ask Cloudflare Turnstile whether a person or a script is sending them. For that check your browser shares some details about the device and the visit with Cloudflare, which treats them under its own privacy terms.

Counting visits

Google’s analytics tools show us how many people visit and which pages help them, so we know what to improve. Google learns, for instance, which pages were opened and roughly where from, and treats that under its own privacy terms. To recognise a returning visitor those tools store cookies; you can refuse or clear them and still use every page. The guide stores no cookies of its own.

Our booking partner

Check availability opens our booking partner’s site, and the link lets the partner know the visit came from this guide. Dates, names and card details you type there go to the partner, not to us, under the partner’s own privacy terms.

When a hotel is booked through one of these links, our booking partner may pay us a commission.

Who else sees it

Your details are not for sale. Beyond the services named above, nobody receives them from us unless a law obliges us to share them.

How long it stays

A message stays with us while it is useful for replying and for any question that follows. Ask, and we delete it earlier.
