One can peacefully enjoy the old town atmosphere form the small balcony with a cup of coffee or a glass of wine, away from the crowds. Top choice for a real Bari experience. Old 17th century building, transformed into modern super cozy apartments. One can peacefully enjoy the old town atmosphere form the small balcony with a cup of coffee or a glass of wine, away from the crowds. Absolutely everything is new, perfectly clean and comfortable - nice bed, very big shower, all amenities provided, plenty of coffee and fruits and drinks in the fridge. The host Romina is so helpful and nice, she welcomed me to show me the room and to give me information on the area - the apartments with their wonderful balconies are just above the Origuete street where the Nonnas make fresh pasta from early morning to late evening. Location can't be better, everything is in 5 minutes - cathedral, castle, sea, shops, supermarkets.

The location is fantastic, within the old city, with dozens of shops, restaurants, historic churches, museum of, and the waterfront all within a short walk. Romina was an excellent hostess, meeting us as we got out of our taxi, and stocked the refrigerator in our lovely room with fruit and drinks. Our balcony overlooked the narrow street where Nonnas we're making orichiette pasta by hand. The room was comfortable with modern plumbing and air conditioning. We ate marvelous meals in the surrounding streets and piazzas. Although we took a taxi from the train station, we could have walked, and in fact did walk to the train station on the day we left. Each of us pulled a medium size suitcase and wore a backpack-- no problem .
Could be better: I should mention that there was a steep climb up stairs to our 2nd floor room-- this was not a problem for us, but someone with disabilities might have difficulties. I should add that Romina's husband did all the luggage toting when we arrived and when we were leaving! Thank you, Romina!

This accommodation is 1000% worth it, right in the very centre of the old town,.in the same famous street as the ladies making fresh pasta on the street below, walkable to everywhere even the main city outside the old walls. The hosts were fabulous, very quick responses, met us at the closest carpark and carried out luggage, gave us information on where to eat and what to see. You won't be sorry if you book in here.
