He was an exceptional host, he checked in on us and gave us great advice and was very caring and attentive. Even though we couldn’t speak any Italian, we were able to communicate easily with a translation app. The place had very nice decor and great facilities, even things I wouldn’t think I would need. We were expecting we would have to buy our own umbrella for the beach but there was one that we could borrow! There is also AC which was definitely a necessity during our July stay. I would recommend Maison Sara any day:)

The apartment was very clean, we had everything we needed and the host is a very nice person who even offered to pick us up from the train station nearby as we encountered a roaming issue and could not find the apartment. The location is very good as it is close to the train and bus station, also restaurants and food stores nearby. We highly recommend the apartment!

I highly recommend this apartment. It’s in a great location, just a few minutes from Bari Centrale and a supermarket. The accommodation was spacious and had everything we needed. The bed was comfortable and the kitchen was well-equipped. A huge plus was the friendly, welcoming, and helpful owner, Pasquale, with whom we were in constant contact whenever needed.

From the moment we met Pasquale, the host and owner of Maison Sara, he treated us with so much kindness, warmth and hospitality that made us feel like cherished family members. Maison Sara has a nice specific Italian atmosphere, it is cozy and inviting. It was designed and arranged with so much good taste and with so much attention to details. Everything is new and clean and we had absolutely everything we needed in the apartment. We really felt at home during our stay. Also, Pasquale was extremely nice to make us some recommendations of very good restaurants and places to visit in Puglia. it really helped us better organize our schedule during our stay. Maison Sara is close to the city center, and there are approx. 1.3 km (20 min walking) to Bari Vecchia (Old Town), which we enjoyed walking almost every evening. There are supermarkets, pharmacies, pizzeria, focacceria and pasticcerias - all amenities close to Maison Sara. Therefore, everything you need is at a walking distance. Pasquale was very friendly and attentive to make our stay experience memorable, with his genuine hospitality. He waited for us with a nice prepared colazione, everyhting we needed to prepare a coffee or a tea, tarrali pugliesi and a nice bottle of wine, that he made himself. The wine was absolutely delicious and exquisit, as we enjoyed it one evening during our stay. When we handed over the keys before leaving, Pasquale offered us and our daughter a gift/souvenir to take home with us. Small gestures and kindness are really making the difference and we really appreciated them. We cherish deeply Pasquale’s hospitality and friendliness and we are grateful that we met him and stayed at Maison Sara. Everything was outstandung in every conceivable way. We cannot recommend Maison Sara and Pasquale highly enough and we will for sure come back again. Grazie mille! <3
