Once you figure out how to get there and get in past two passcodes, it is a perfectly central location to see all the top sights.
Could be better: The location is difficult to get to, and difficult to get out of. It is on a pedestrian street, 100 feet from the nearest place a cab can reach, and beyond walking distance from the train station. Also not close to the closest stop of the airport bus. Cabs from the airport are crazy expensive, like 50 euros or more, more than New York…

Could be better: The location is difficult to get to, and difficult to get out of. It is on a pedestrian street, 100 feet from the nearest place a cab can reach, and beyond walking distance from the train station. Also not close to the closest stop of the airport bus. Cabs from the airport are crazy expensive, like 50 euros or more, more than New York City cabs for such a short distance No parking nearby if you have a car. II would suggest staying here only if you are going to stay at least 3 days and want to enjoy old Bari, esp. the Norman Castle. We had difficulty getting help from the owners, who kept replying in Italian to our increasingly desperate pleas in English to send us the two passcodes before our plane to Bari took off. The whole process was a stressful start to our vacation. The owners also do not provide a package of advanced info including maps of the walking, bus, etc. routes upon entering and departing. You have to squeeze the info out of them.

The location was great and beach umbrella saved us :)
Could be better: Lack of plates and toilet brush but the owner at the end told me I could told her, she would bring it - fair enough :) so if you need, just tell her, she will deliver it asap :) Very small shower place.
