The room breakfast and location were great but it was Claudia who made the stay exceptional! She always greeted us with a smile, she was always helpful with directions, places to go and see,she even advised us on the train strike. She was just so helpful,we were going to the local beach one day and she lent us a sun umbrella so we wouldn’t get burned. She was the ultimate professional in her work but always seemed genuinely happy to see us and is a wonderful asset to the hotel. She is the reason I would stay at the hotel again. All the staff were excellent but Claudia was just that little bit special.
Could be better: Small thing, but found the mattress a bit hard

9.09.0 out of 10 We would recommend Hotel Moderno.
The room was very spacious and comfortable. Bathroom was clean with all amenities. Centrally located, comfortable walk from train station to old town and other areas of city. Breakfast offered enough variety each morning.
Could be better: I feel if there were a few chairs on balcony would make a nice, relaxing area. Move the blow dryer from inside bathroom to the area with the sink assists with two people starting their day.
