Could be better: I told the owner that I would arrive at noon, and he said that that would be no issue. I then told him that, since I could check in at noon, and a friend of mine had to wait until later, she might leave my bags at my place until she could check in, then eventually take her bags to her hotel; she would not stay with me as she had her own hotel. The owner first clarified that by "noon" he understood midnight, and that I could not check in until 3 pm. He also understood that this meant that my friend was going to stay with me. He threatened to call the police several times, and each time I told him that my friend wasn't staying, she might just leave bags there (in the end, she never did, since I could not check in early). When I tried explaining with detail why she could not stay with me anyway, he said "I don't care, if she goes, I'll call the police." He then said he could visit the property at any time. I looked at previous reviews of the property, and one had a similar experience where the owner misunderstood that there were more visitors, threatened to call the police, and entered the property without notice or permission. I had to contact Booking.com three times for them to finally confirm in writing that the owner could not simply enter the apartment without my permission. The stay would have been lovely, but the owner's attitude and the uncertainty of whether someone would enter the apartment without my permission made the stay needlessly stressful.

Could be better: The owner did not reached out to me, how to get into the building. I've got a link, but it did not opened the building door. It came out that I need a code (which is confusing, as the link says I can can open the building door with it). The owner gave the code to me, but it would have been better to get some information before my trip. Also, there is no phisical keys for the appartmant. This is not so comfortable, I needed my phone to open the door, so I was worried about my battery all the time. I traveled in December. Tha page says there is heating in the appartmant. Well... THere are 3 aircons, 2 of them is superold and supernoisy and not so efficient. I was cold most of the time. And there is just a few sunlight, as there is only 2 very small windows.
