Excellent host, location, and accommodations! Vittoria contacted us before our arrival and was very helpful and flexible in arranging check-in. He met us when we arrived, showed us where to park to unload our luggage since we arrived outside ZTL hours, and walked us through the apartment, including how the door locks worked. He also made sure we were aware of the weekend festival activities. We stayed during the St. Nicola Festival and had a front-row view of the parade, which made the experience even more memorable. After returning our rental car at the train station, we found the apartment to be an easy walk from there. When it was time to leave, Vittoria helped arrange a taxi and provided clear directions on where to meet it since some roads were closed for the festival. The apartment’s location was excellent, with easy access to the historic center, city center, and train and bus stations. There was also a beautiful sea view just outside the front door. We only stayed two nights but wished we could have stayed longer.
Could be better: It would have been amazing if there had been windows where you could see the Sea from inside the house. There is a partial view out the front door if you sat on one section of the sofa. I realize that it is not possible with the way it is built but would have added even more value.
