Everything about our stay here was amazing! Antonio took amazing care of us and gave us some wonderful information about the city and recommended us an amazing restaurant for dinner. Our room was spacious and comfortable with a great bathroom as well. Breakfast on the rooftop deck was spectacular and the conversation with Antonio made us feel at home. Highly recommend staying here if you can.

Absolute gem of a stay. Its right in the heart of the old town so everything is within walking distance. We cannot thank Antonio enough for such a perfect stay! He went above and beyond whilst we were there, did us a packed breakfast one morning as we had a trip. We went for my sisters 40th and so as a surprise I requested a little birthday message to be left in the room, but Antonio left my sister a bag of goodies! The terrace for breakfast was so peaceful and the food was fresh and delicious. There was also a fridge within the kitchenette area where you could help yourself to the drinks provided free of charge. The room was spacious, spotless and just so relaxing. The beds were extremely soft and comfy. The only downfall was that we had to come home!! We would've loved to have stayed longer. There are steep steps up to the rooms but Antonio offers to carry the bags and we had no problem (but something to bear in mind if you are less able on stairs). Cannot rate our stay highly enough! Thank you so much 🙂

I had a fantastic stay at B&B Murex for my one night in Bari. The location is fantastic for exploring the city. The hotel staff were so friendly and helpful. The room was great and the rooftop access is such a nice bonus. The breakfast was so good. All around a fantastic experience. I cannot recommend this place enough for a visit to Bari.
Could be better: The stairs to access the property and the roof were a little treacherous. Thankfully hotel staff helped with my luggage up and down.

A charming, well-decorated place right in the heart of Bari Vecchia, facing the Castello Normanno-Svevo and a short walk from the Basilica di San Nicola and the old town. Everything was clean and well organised. The terrace is spectacular, with a beautiful view, and breakfast was very good. Alice and Antonio were courteous and attentive throughout. The air conditioning was excellent even in a very hot summer — not something to take for granted.

Location is perfect for accessing old part of city and room was great. We were met by Antonio who helped with luggage and provided a first class intro to property and local sights.
Could be better: The only potential issue for some people might be steep and narrow stairs to access. Fine for us (we are 69 & 67) but some might find it challenging.

This was an exceptional stay. Antonio was a most gracious and helpful host. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious on a beautiful rooftop terrace. The stairs are steep but Antonio carried our bags up and down so there was no worry about that. I highly recommend this B & B for your stay in Bari!!

Quaint B&B in the heart of Bari's Old Town. It was clean, quiet and well-located. Easy to get around to all the major sites. Antonio, my host, was so kind, helpful, extremely responsive and went above and beyond to make my stay the best! The very best in customer service for sure!! I would absolutely recommend B&B Murex.
Could be better: Just a note that you need to be able to climb stairs! I didn't see it as a downside, but for those who aren't used to walking up and down steep steps, I would not advise you to stay here.
