The apartment was very comfortable and spacious. The location was excellent, not far from the train station and walking distance to the old town. There were lots of lovely wine bars nearby full of locals.
Could be better: The arrival process was a bit stressful. We booked an early check in but the host was not there (this is an not a b&b, just some holiday apartments in a residential Building). Could be better: The arrival process was a bit stressful. We booked an early check in but the host was not there (this is an not a b&b, just some holiday apartments in a residential Building). We arrived early and messaged but got no answer, we even called. The best way to contact is via what’s app but we weren’t told this. We waited over an hour in the summer heat to gain access but the just did not contact us to say there was a delay. The apartment is very newly renovated yet the sofa bed was made up with a sheet that had a hole and one of the wall lights was coming off the wall. These things were all minor and the apartment was comfortable and very clean and safe but obviously it wasn’t a good start.

Stay a few night in old town for the experience, but then come here. 5-minute walk to buses for Alberobello or Matera, plus regional train to Lecce or Ferrie Rosse to Naples or Rome. Self laundry 2 minutes away, Grocery store next to self laundry.

We liked the fact that it was pretty close to the main train station and we could explore even more cities, but also to the main avenue that leads to the historic center of Bari.

The location is very good. It was close to everything I needed and absolutely walkable from the old town. The communication with the staff was very good. They were very helpful. My room was spacious, clean and newly renovated. I had access to a balcony as well!
Could be better: I had to be very careful for the shower not to flood the whole place, which once happened. The bathroom sink was clogged as well. I requested cleaning so someone came everyday and made the beds, cleaned the bathroom etc. but it would have been better if they changed the sheets once in a week. Could be better: I had to be very careful for the shower not to flood the whole place, which once happened. The bathroom sink was clogged as well. I requested cleaning so someone came everyday and made the beds, cleaned the bathroom etc. but it would have been better if they changed the sheets once in a week. Probably they would if I asked for it, but I didn't know that they won't. There was a very tiny fridge in the room which didn't cool things much. Considering that this place doesn't offer any breakfast, it would be better to have an actual small refrigerator in the room.

The location is great if you want to base yourself in Bari and take day trips around Puglia from there. There's a friendly little focaccia bakery around the corner. Some nice bars and design stores close by. And you're not far from a corniche along the sea.
Could be better: We could have done with curtains in the second room.
